Chimera Global’s culture is based on Special Operations principles stepped in four key tenets. 1. Humans are more important than software, 2. There is no replacement for demonstrable experience and 3. Technology without operational context is useless.

Humans are more important than software- The correlation between implicit bias and poor training data in artificial intelligence/machine learning clearly highlights the importance of focusing on the human-in-the-loop. It should go without saying that great minds build great solutions. Culturally we go a step further….we believe great minds, cultivated, appreciated and mission focused accomplish extraordinary things.

• 2. There is no replacement for demonstrable experience-Chimera Global staffs from unique environments such as, Special Operations Forces, Special Mission Units and Inter-Agency partners. Each of our cadre have a minimum of a decade of experience developed and proven in challenging environments. We ensure that we recruit multi-faceted individuals, screen for aptitude to operate in ambiguity and to develop business or technical solutions on the fly. This culture breeds a preponderance for agility, speed, scaleability and elimination of unnecessary processes when attacking challenges.

• 3. Technology without operational context is useless-In the commercial realm, product market traction is critical to investment and solution validation. Likewise, in the defense sector, operational context is critical to validating mission/requirement alignment. Therefore our culture is deeply rooted in extreme focus on organizational/customer mission as well as producing or shepherding practical solutions that enable mission success. The name Chimera is based on Webster’s biological definition of “an organism containing a mixture of genetically different tissues, formed by processes such as fusion.” In this context, our culture rests upon the foundation of fusing operational context with the agile methodologies and applications.

While on deployment our founders recognized the symbiosis of innovation and actionable intelligence with organizational and operational success. This experience taught us that innovation does not inherently ensure optimal business outcomes by itself. Therefore, Chimera Global has developed unique methodology, processes, and procedures that drive us to approach modernization, targeting, and digital transformation differently.

Chimera Global has advised and shepherded state-of-the-art Silicon Valley companies doing business with the Defense Department and Inter-Agency. We have also trained and advised large Primes working in outside declared theater of active armed conflict (ODTAAC) areas.
